Our beliefs.

  • An open table.

At the heart of our tradition is a simple, profound truth: the Communion Table belongs to Christ, not to us. Because it is Christ’s Table, the invitation is wide, generous, and without conditions. Communion is celebrated weekly and all are welcome to participate.

  • Freedom of belief.

Each person is free to follow their conscience as they listen to the Holy Spirit, learn from the wider church community, and study scripture together. We hold our beliefs with humility, honoring one another’s questions and differences, and extending the same freedom and grace that we ourselves hope to receive.

  • Baptism.

We celebrate baptism as a gift of God’s grace and a sign of new life in Jesus. While we most often practice believer’s baptism by immersion, we fully honor all Christian baptisms and never expect anyone to be re-baptized to belong here.

  • Unity of the church.

We seek a unity that strengthens our shared witness and service in the world by listening with compassion, especially to voices at the margins, trusting that Christ binds us together even when we do not all believe or experience faith in the same way

  • All of Us Are Called.

We believe God gives every Christian unique gifts for ministry, so pastors and laypeople alike share in leading worship, serving others, and nurturing spiritual growth.

  • Passion for justice.

We believe God invites us to join in the healing of a broken world, seeking justice, mercy, and wholeness for all people. This work is never ours alone—we partner with churches, community organizations, and global neighbors to confront injustice and embody Christ’s love in practical, tangible ways.

About us

Our church community is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) -- "a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world." Within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), each congregation governs itself and reflects the particular people, place, and calling it has been given. What unites us across our diversity is a shared commitment to radical welcome, the pursuit of Christian unity, and the regular practice of communion at a table where all are invited.

As a denomination, we do not require assent to creeds or impose tests of belief. Instead, we trust that God meets people in the honest study of scripture, read thoughtfully and in context. We seek faith that is curious, humble, and rooted in love—making room for difference while holding fast to our hope of belonging together. As our tradition has long affirmed, we strive for unity without insisting on uniformity.
